Four years ago Katy & Ed Petrini moved from Nashua, New Hampshire to the Village of Caroline. Katy learned to play billiards in The Villages, but Ed has played the sport for many years. They each participate in several billiards leagues in The Villages.
Ed is the VBC Vice President in charge of catering for the VBC. He and Katy often cook tasty meals for the monthly Friday night meetings and Katy bakes delicious cookies. She and Ed have been married for twenty-five years. Together they have three sons ages, 43, 45 and 49 and three grandchildren.
In The Army Ed became a cook and then he worked as a caterer for thirty-five years in Boston. He was raised in the family business, manufacturing over twenty-five Italian meat products in the north end of Boston. Ed became a realtor in 1985 and in 1995 a builder selling his own construction for 4 years before retiring in 1999.
Katy retired in 2008 as President of an inner city ministry at The Upper Room
Compassionate Ministries in Nashua. She was also a store clerk and worked in a doctor’s office for ten years. She enjoys walking, cooking, golf, biking, Bible Study and talking about her Christian faith.
